清海（佐藤めぐみ）の塗りばしのイベントにゲスト出演することになった喜代美（貫地谷しほり）。そこで喜代美は「小草若（茂山宗彦）に落語への思いを取り戻してもらおう」と、ある創作落語を考える。イベント当日、会場に現れた小草若に聞かせるように、喜代美は「ふるさと」をモチーフにした落語を演じるが、途中で事情を勘違いした小次郎（京本政樹）が割り込んできて高座をめちゃくちゃにしてしまう。するとそのとき…。
