小林武义得知林雨竹逃走，大怒，让姚华康将功赎罪，全城搜捕。萧寒带着林雨竹来到曾经的秘密据点，伪警察上门搜查，付大虎假扮疯子蒙混过关。为了逼出林雨竹，小林武义来到济世医院，枪毙一名医生和两个护士，理由是协助院长林雨竹偷运违禁品，并宣布只要林雨竹不投案自首，每过两小时就枪毙三个医护人员。萧寒和林雨竹、付大虎他们在屋里听到伪警察们的大喇叭声，林雨竹不忍让无辜的人受累，为阻止小林武义的屠夫行为，她决定冲出去，萧寒阻止她的冒失行为，决定以其人之道还治其人之身。在组织的协助下，萧寒开始行动，日军街头巡逻兵、日本军官被打死。在济世医院等林雨竹上门的小林武义接到上司打来的电话，命令他不要在占领区激化矛盾影响全局。
