林雨竹请平田吃西餐，假意收买他一起走私。平田向小林武义报告，小林武义听说走私物品是无缝钢管和棉布，正好也是日军需要的，于是让平田答应下来，等到宁波便将它们扣押，据为己有。林雨竹带着平田一起到码头，亲眼看到货物装船，林雨竹提议到酒吧喝酒庆贺，利用姚华康的黑帮朋友，将平田灌醉。林雨竹拿走平田身上的特别运输证，将它交给我地下组织，并约定海上相见时间，接林雨竹撤离。上船后，平田一直在沉睡中，约定的时间到了，接应的船只已经抵达，不料小林武义突然出现，林雨竹无奈之下，只能放弃撤离。小林武义没有找到药品，知道事情不妙，下令抓捕林雨竹。
