翠山等人之船被狂风暴雨打沉，在海中漂流。金毛狮王狂性大发，素素乘机以毒针刺瞎其双眼，与翠山逃出其魔掌。 怎料山、素无意中重遇金毛狮王，发现其伤重垂危，不理后果挽回其性命。金毛狮王见二人恩怨分明，大为感动，决将以往恩仇一笔勾销。 各派等人遍寻白龟寿不获，遂联合少林派逼天鹰教。原来白龟寿冒死向天鹰教教主殷天正回报「扬刀大会」情况，殷天正见势成骑虎，着白龟寿在众人面前装死，以示清白，并声言爱女素素亦音讯全无，令众人哑口无言。 山、素患难中互相扶持，渐生情愫，本应及早共谐连理，可是翠山固执成性，认为无师父之命而苟合，有损礼教，令素素大感气结，后经金毛狮王从中撮合，二人有情人终成眷属。
