当灭绝师太率众派上光明顶，以倚天剑制服魔教。无忌眼见魔教弟子宁死不屈，仗义心起，宁受灭绝三掌以换取魔教弟子自由。怎料灭绝毫不留情，无忌灵机一触，以「九阳神功」护体，令灭绝羞怒而去。 殷野王见殷离后，怨由心起，欲将她杀死。怎料临急突被明教四大天王之一韦一笑带走。后无忌从说不得口中，得知韦一笑练功走火入魔，专吸人血以防寒气攻心而死，令无忌大为担心。 其实韦一笑欲藉殷离与殷天正的关系，要胁天鹰教合力对抗六大派。怎料金花婆婆突出现抢走殷离，令韦一笑大失所望。 金花婆婆对殷离为寻旧爱私自离开灵蛇岛大表震怒。殷离为平息其怒火，带金花逼武烈说出金毛狮王下落，然后以「千蛛万毒手」重创其父 ，殷离于心不忍。 韦一笑等五散人见明教大敌当前，顿化干戈为玉帛，决联手对付各大派，却突被成昆袭击，众人两败俱伤。
