长颈鹿幼儿园的花斑园长去森林里采摘金合欢嫩叶，过了3天人都没有回来。幼儿园的红老师向护卫队求助，护卫队决定分头行动寻找花斑园长。流星最先发现了头被卡在树枝间的花斑，并将它解救下来，事后二人决定一起继续寻找金合欢嫩叶。却不小心陷进了沼泽，正想着怎么脱身的时候，被烈日暴晒的干草自燃并掉进了沼泽里。因为沼泽里面充满了沼气，引发了连续的沼气爆炸。流星临危不惧，用盾牌一次次的挡住爆炸飞来的泥块，并用机械臂抓住远处的一棵大树，将花斑园长从沼泽里拽出。同时风暴赶来救援，用风暴力量击起地面并形成一睹巨墙保护了筋疲力尽的流星和花斑园长。之后他们终于将金合欢嫩叶带回了幼儿园，送到了小朋友的手里。
