闪电在观察力测试中挑战失败，他认为不应该使用障眼法进行测试。这时警报响起，剧院发生火灾，小朋友们都被困在里面,兔狲爸爸也在其中。闪电和彩虹进入帮助大家逃脱后时发现，小小鸭仍然被困在道具室。闪电连忙返回剧院营救，兔狲爸爸也跟着返回。道具室的门无法从外面打开，唯一通向室内的通风口也过于狭窄，闪电无法进入。此时，兔狲爸爸赶到，轻松进入通风口将小小鸭带出道具室。剧院即将倒塌，在护卫队的帮助下，兔狲爸爸和小小鸭也被安全救出。原来，兔狲与普通猫的体型一样，只是厚厚的毛皮使他们看起来大了好几号。闪电终于明白了眼见不一定为实的道理。
