道で突如「死者の乗る自転車」が近づいてきて、襲われる…という怪奇事件が、最近「うすらぬら」によく書き込まれている。ナツメたちが被害者に聞き込みを進める一方で、なんとケースケが死者の乗る自転車“ゴーストサイクル”に襲われたらしい！ ゴーストサイクルは恐ろしいオーラで背後から迫り、「お前じゃなぁーーい！」と叫びながら襲いかかってきたというのだ。調査を進めていく中で、「塾の帰りによく自転車で来るマサキくんという男の子がいる」という駄菓子屋のおばあちゃんの話にピンときたナツメたち。さっそくマサキの家へ行ってみるが、インターホンを押しても誰も出ない。そこへおばさんが通りがかり、「マサキくんは最近交通事故に遭って…」と涙ぐむ。すると、「どういうことだ！」と、なぜか興奮状態のゴーストサイクルが現れて…!?
