ある日、トウマのクラスの男子生徒たちが、半数以上も学校を欠席した。さらに、彼らは全員「コックリさん」をやっていたという。この件を怪しんだ妖怪探偵団は、調査を開始！ すると、意識を取り戻した男子生徒のひとりから、「うすらぬら」へ投稿が寄せられた。その書き込みによると、どす黒い空気の中からキツネの化けものが突如現れ、金縛りに遭ったという。さらにそのキツネは「身体をよこせ」と言ってきたそうだ。ナツメは、まず同じキツネの妖怪“キュウビ”を召喚して、話を聞いてみることに。キュウビは、自分以外にキツネの妖怪がいるとすれば、稲荷神社だろうと言う。ナツメたちが学校の近くの稲荷神社へ調査に行ってみると、キツネの化けものが襲いかかってきて…!?
