在劫匪刘某兄弟抢劫金店并逃窜的新闻播报中，刘波和华子兄弟二人爬山。刘波对弟弟华子思维简单、无时无刻不缠着自己感到很痛苦，于是将他引到悬崖边上推了下去。可没想到华子却毫发无损地爬了上来。刘波再次动手，可弟弟又再一次爬了上来。如此反复之后，刘波对弟弟表达了自己已经不堪其扰、想要让他离开以便能过自己生活的愿望，华子哭着答应并希望哥哥回家。原来，二十年前，还在上小学的刘波因为跟妈妈吵架，离家出走，弟弟华子跟上安慰，结果兄弟二人在山间遇到抢劫金店的劫匪火并，华子被意外推落山崖，刘波拽不住弟弟只能眼睁睁地看着弟弟送命，这成了他走不出的心结，这么多年，他始终无法释怀，甚至在幻想中将这一切的责任都归到了自己头上，认为将弟弟推落下山的人是自己。直到今天看见象征逝去的家人前来告别的蓝色彗星，刘波终于放下心结，带着弟弟的祝福重新开始生活。
