李霞带人刺杀李都尉，结果被李都尉所抓，李都尉让人将他和廖晞关在了一起。大帅张熹年想收编兴化扩充地盘，李都尉狮子大开口，大帅命少帅张子男前去处理。李霞行刑当日，廖晞陪绑，李都尉命人将廖晞的双手砸断。李都尉举枪欲杀廖晞。少帅骑马赶来，开枪打死了李都尉，廖晞被送回家中时，廖靖山已经身亡，廖晞挣扎着爬向门口，因伤心过度昏了过去。廖家请来的医生为廖晞诊治，告诉廖家人廖晞的手筋坏了，以后恐怕再也不能拿起雕刻刀了。少帅前来凭吊，加上此前的救命之恩，廖宜慧对他心生别样情愫。梅骆丹带着苏哲前来凭吊，秀菊察觉出她和廖晞之间似乎有着不太寻常的关系。
