为了顺从妈妈的意愿，楚路参加海星娱乐的试听会，在试听会上，丁总监再次被楚路的声音所打动。他如获至宝般高兴，也马不停蹄开与高层汇报这件事，大家一直认为星海娱乐即将会诞生一位天后。但是又担心歌迷不能接受铂金乐队的主唱由高原到楚路这一现实情况，有人提出单独包装楚路，可是楚路只有在和高原合作的时候才会大放异彩，丁总监不想埋没这样的人才，便提出由楚路担任铂金乐队的主唱，高原担任吉他手兼创作，至于后期的宣传，以及如何让广大歌迷接受，丁总监会另想它法。丁总监有办法将高原捧上天，自然也有办法让他摔下来，也就是雪藏。
