在料亭，经理事长圆能寺介绍,伦太郎认识了著名小说家风间。因为最新作品受到恶评，风间的精神状态出现了异常，出版社社长拜托円能寺介绍合适的医生，于是，圆能寺推荐了宫川教授和伦太郎。酒宴上，风间对长年为他工作的女秘书睦美大嚷大叫：“你不是睦美，是冒牌货！”众人大惊，混乱中风间头部负伤被送入慧南大学医院，接受百合子的治疗。关于风间的病情，宫川凭头部扫描影像结果诊断为妄想型统合失调症，对此伦太郎持异议，认为现在下结论为时过早。理事长圆能寺作主将风间交给宫川医治。虽然被宫川警告不许接近风间，伦太郎仍然想方设法接近风间和睦美。与此同时，梦乃邀伦太郎出游。正当伦太郎被她前后不一的言行搞得莫名其妙时，梦乃向他提出了一个请求。
