二十名美食爱好者首次进入“顶级厨房”，进行“神秘盒”“创意菜”“压力测试”三大考核，最终有两位遗憾离开。经过淘汰后留下的厨艺高手走进松江大学城，十八位美食爱好者分作红蓝两队进入高校食堂，在三个小时的紧张时间内，为三百零一名莘莘学子烧顿午餐，两队状况百出，而三百零一名学子手中的一元硬币，则决定了最终的胜负，形势一度陷入胶着，并最终出现“大逆转”。
