因为自己家的故事被拍成了著名的情景喜剧《我爱我家》，并且亲自出镜，贾志新一度被全国人民所熟知和喜爱。如今，贾志新还成立了宇宙公司，正式进军影视业。并且贾志新告诉众人，《我爱我家》的导演其实是他，并不是英达。于是，众人对拍摄情景喜剧的事情变得充满了信心。次日，贾志新带着工作人员来到后台，布置拍摄场景。在贾导的指挥下，相声后台放上了老式卡带收音机和一副“烈士暮年，壮心不已”的字，让众人有一种似曾相识的感觉。后台，贾导开始为演员挨个分析人物，可是讲来讲去，贾导为每个演员安排的人物性格，其实都是《我爱我家》中的人物。
