布卢村附近，龙族族人为了找木材遇上北族士兵被俘，紫川秀率领秀字营和精灵族前去相救，但却不敌，龙族与精灵族牺牲自己，为紫川秀等人换取一线生机，脱离危险。龙族和精灵族的死亡唤醒紫川秀，紫川秀真切意识到，远州需要崛起与反抗，而非只是自保。于是，紫川秀来圣庙求见远州长老布丹，提出要团结远州各部族对抗北族。布丹曾经历过被紫川人欺骗的惨痛经历，第一次让远州被紫川打压了两百年；第二次让远州各族三十一万兄弟在赤水滩丧失性命。惨痛的教训令他无法再相信紫川秀，故果断拒绝。
