麻宫葵向宫部新提出想在“二代宫部”打工，但阿新因为已经决定雇用先一步提出工作申请的长屋龙二，便以没多余的钱雇人为由拒绝了小葵。尽管如此，小葵仍不肯罢休，一一列举出居酒屋必须改善的地方，指出社长身边必须有一个像自己这样能制定战略的人物。最后，阿新问了小葵非在这里打工不可的理由后，决定让小葵当经理。小葵和龙二加入后，阿新制定新的制度，率领“二代宫部”再出发。根据小葵的指点，居酒屋从内部装修到菜单都进行了大幅度的更新。终于，他们迎来了重装开业的日子。葵的宣传颇有成效，店铺宾客盈门，打破了过去最高的销售记录，阿新、内山亮太、绫濑非常高兴，而小葵好象被什么东西吸引了注意力。与此同时，在长屋集团，长屋茂得知相川京子专务那一派的持股比率上升了，遂询问备受相川宠爱的楠木优香对自己的忠诚度，并递过“二代宫部”的菜单，要她用行动证明对自己的忠诚。
