多多在小卖部看到个从没见过的瓜，回家上网一查，得知这种瓜竟会爆炸，吓得他赶紧求助帮帮团。大家赶往小卖部救出球球爷爷，好在铁西瓜还没有爆炸。刚松了口气，得知这瓜是毛毛爸爸送的，众人又急忙跑去毛毛家。毛毛在用铁西瓜打保龄球，团子及时用魔法冻住了铁西瓜。之后大家去找卖瓜的小贩算账，小贩却告诉他们铁西瓜是葫芦属，“会爆炸”的说法是谣言。经过查证，果然如此，大家向小贩道歉，明白了网上很多信息都是虚假的。
