为了不用天天帮围裙妈妈买葱，大头儿子和小头爸爸决定自己种葱。虽然周围人都不予理解但父子两人还是坚持自己种，在太阳和雨水的滋润下大头小头葱地里的葱得以茁壮成长。为而来不浪费葱地里的葱，两人把自己煮出来的葱送给了周围来求葱的邻居们和街上的行人们，而大头小头葱地也更名为了新村葱地。这天小头爸爸带着大头儿子来到五花八门商场，来到商场的小头爸爸买了十个竹篮花完了所有钱，就在两人回家的途中却不断有人来询问小头爸爸竹篮怎么卖，就在小头爸爸被警察误当做无证买卖带走时大头儿子却把竹篮全部卖光了。卖完了竹篮的大头儿子终于买到自己向往已久的机器人，而这么也等不到爸爸的小头儿子最终在警察的帮助下找到了爸爸。
