加贞要离开房间，谭二怀疑她要去报官，锁上房门，要对加贞施暴。谭伯顿怒砸镜子，谭二头疼，伯顿将镜子砸破，双人格同体。在镜像空间内，谭伯顿和谭二终极对决。谭伯顿这才知道谭二帮自己破案就是为了羞辱自己，引自己精神崩溃从而放弃身体，勾引加贞的用意也是为了打压自己的精神。其实谭二心中只有为母复仇，并不爱加贞，他注意到宋明山兜里那张写着冯万江诗句的纸条和儿时酒窖墙上谭伯顿父母的人像画用的是同一种纸。这种纸，是谭伯顿父亲参加的洪武会专有，所以杀害宋明山的人，一定和谭伯顿的父母有非常大的联系。
