楠大雅（松本潤）は、名俳優・楠航太郎（伊東四朗）を父に、元女優の真知子（松坂慶子）を母に持ち、自身も俳優を稼業とするいわゆる二世俳優。しかし、あまりにも偉大な父には遠く及ばず、鳴かず飛ばずの日々を送っている。生活は未だに親頼み。恋愛も、自分だけを見て愛してくれる彼女の出現を待ち続けて26年経ってしまった。つい先日も大雅は、箸の持ち方が気に入らないと付き合っていた女性と別れたばかり。 そんな大雅の友人は、同じく二世俳優の植野慶太（笠原秀幸）。同じ境遇からか気が合う2人はオフでは一緒に遊ぶ仲だ。その日も優雅にスカイダイビングを楽しんでいたが、大雅だけ風に流され、着地地点から大幅に離れた海の近くの雑木林に落下。地面への激突は免れたものの、気づけば大雅は木の枝に引っかかり、宙ぶらりん状態に。逃れようなく困っていると、ちょうど道を走ってくる女性が・・・。
