優美子（安田成美）は、一也（東幹久）への思いを忘れることができず、元気がない。市村（鶴見辰吾）とデートしててもうわの空。市村はつらい。 一方、カンナ（中森明菜）と会った一也は、何か言いたそうな表情。そんな一也を気にしながらカンナはカラ元気。四人とも気持ちが満たされない。この四人が野球を見に行った。並んで座ったが、優美子と一也は一番離れた席。優美子は一也、一也は優美子のことを考えている。 その翌日、市村と優美子が会った。市村は「外国に行く日が早まった。結婚はなかったことにしよう」と優美子に伝えた。
