第二のグローバルフリーズを起こすため、ゴルドドライブとロイミュード004に追い詰められたブレン。そのブレンを守ったのはドライブだった。ブレンに逃げるよう促すドライブだったが、その闘いの中で霧子が負傷してしまう。霧子に対する想いに気付いた進ノ介は複雑な心境で霧子を助けるのだが―。一方、追手から逃れたブレンはメディックの異常について調べていた。そして、正気を失ったメディックに埋め込んだ自分の爪を遠隔操作し、メディックのシステムの謎を突き止めたブレンは、態度を豹変させる。なんと命からがら逃れたはずのゴルドドライブのもとに自ら戻ったのだ!
