久我一郎（佐野勇斗）は売れない漫画家。親を亡くし、幼い妹・まちと弟・ふみおを養うため、必死に漫画を描く日々を送っている。ある日、一郎の漫画に憧れてやってきた臨時のアシスタント、五色しおり。彼女の助けで一郎は締め切りぎりぎりの危機を脱するが、疲れて眠っているしおりの体の一部からとげのようなものが出ていることに一郎が気づき、確かめようとそのとげにふれた瞬間、狭い仕事部屋が宇宙に変わった！ とある島の王族の姫だというしおりは、「とげにふれたことでふたりの婚姻関係の契りが結ばれました」と理解不能なことを一郎に告げる。さらに、「まずは恋愛から始めるべきなのでは？」と言うしおり。不思議な力によって離れていることが困難になったふたりは、同じアパートに住むことに。お互いの魅力を発見していく時間が始まる。恋愛初心者のふたりは、これからいったいどんな関係を育てていくのか？ ふたりの恋の行き着く先は？
