病気の妻・陽子（しゅはまはるみ）とその夫・哲也（三上市朗）。 陽子は手術を受けることを拒否し、死んだ飼い犬・マロンのもとへ行きたいと諦めてしまっている様子。 イメージ1イメージ2 そんな陽子を説得すべく、哲也はきずな屋へ電話。 2人で乗ったケーブルカーの写真を撮ってきてほしいと依頼する。 そこで、潤がマロンそっくりのぬいぐるみとともに京都を旅することに。 2人がかつて旅をしたルートを巡りながら撮影した動画は、哲也のもとへ。 それを見た陽子は徐々に笑顔を取り戻し…。 すると、哲也と陽子のもとに一通のメールが。それは、潤がマロンに扮して書いた手紙だった…。 心を動かされた陽子は、「また、京都に行きたい」と前向きに。 潤は、「私にできる事は文章を書くことだ」と次回作を書く決意をする。
