Au Japon, il fut une époque où les chrétiens fut persécutés : le christianisme était une religion interdite. Les chrétiens se trouvèrent un chef spirituel, qu'ils comparèrent au fils de Dieu. Un ancien texte prévoyait la renaissance du fils de Dieu mais également que si cette renaissance était empêchée d'une façon ou d'une autre alors ce serait Satan qui renaîtrait. Voilà la toile de fond de ces 2 OAVs mettant en scène des personnages et des événements historiques.
