罗子君和陈俊生结婚后一直待在家中做着全职太太的工作，在俊生的呵护和照顾下，她得以远离职场中的尔虞我诈，对生活的艰难和不易知之甚少。然而，让罗子君没有想到的是，一直十分顾家的俊生，竟然因为一个叫凌玲的女人跟自己离婚了，手无寸铁身无铠甲的罗子君一下子被推倒了生存这一战场的最前线。唐晶是罗子君的朋友，并且是一个作风非常强硬的职场女魔头。看不惯罗子君的软弱和迟疑，她将自己的男友贺涵派往了好友身边，帮助她走出困境。实际上，唐晶和贺涵之间的感情亦面临着重重考验，有着诸多的问题。在贺涵的鼓励和推动下，罗子君终于下定了决定，得到了人生的第一份工作。
