年迈的老人宝禄（刘江 饰）膝下有四子女，然而他们各自散落在天涯，聚少离多。宝禄离奇去世，留下了一道奇怪的遗嘱，要求四子女必须在旧楼单位同居九个月，才能够将其变卖。就这样，大哥宝欢（欧阳震华 饰）、二妹宝欣（滕丽名 饰）、三弟宝愉（张颖康 饰）和四弟宝怡（张彦博 饰）纷纷回到了久违的故乡，重新过起了同在一个屋檐下的生活。四兄妹虽然体内流着相同的血脉，却因为种种意外和心结导致彼此之间感情淡漠，已经成年的他们如今朝夕相见，个性迥异难免产生碰撞摩擦，一时之间矛盾激化，情况十分尴尬。更糟糕的是，一场意外令宝欢发现，住在楼中的并非只有他们兄妹四人，还有一对已经变为鬼魂的夫妻
