某日，空吉不小心看到了本应去了东京游玩的京和一位推着行李箱的陌生男子一起从京都站里走了出来。空吉带着“京和谁一起去东京”的疑惑出诊，结果却在要出诊的灯笼店老板家里发现了刚刚看到的行李箱。他自顾自地地就认为灯笼店老板的儿子·敦彦（结木滉星）正在和京交往。此时的京正好下班，走在回家的路上时，在鸭川发现了一位骑自行车摔倒的女性。这位女性就是空吉曾经所暗恋的人·佐知子（松本若菜）。 在京都的夏日里，各种各样的思绪交杂在一起，最后父女两人的感情会何去何从？
