看似生活幸福美满的瑜伽教练艾伶（王佳佳 饰）突然抛下北京的一切回到故乡小城，成为了一位“神秘的人”。无处施展的才华、与男友姜和（张译 饰）难以割舍的爱情、同父亲艾中华（王志文 饰）之间的陈年矛盾让她与小城显得格格不入。面对多方面情感的困惑和艰辛创业的人生困境，通过大都市和故乡小城、爱情和亲情之间的几经辗转，艾伶离开北京的原因渐渐显现…… 在现实与回忆中，艾伶完成了自己的成长命题，对于所有的选择都有了更从容的心境，从寻找“被爱的每一天”，成为了拥抱“倍爱的每一天”。
