Fotografen och filmaren PeÅ Holmqvist och journalisten och filmaren Suzanne Khardalian har i den här dokumentären begett sig till Jerusalem. 50 år efter sexdagarskriget så befinner sig Jerusalem i en stor förändring, och är fortfarande i centrum för konflikten mellan Palestina och Israel. Det pågår hemska strider i Jerusalems östra delar, där bosättare vill hitta ny mark att bosätta sig på, vilket gör att palestinier får flytta därifrån, som t.ex. Khaled som försöker behålla sitt hem. Holmqvist och Khardalian träffar flera människor som på olika sätt kämpar för sin rätt att leva och överleva i staden Jerusalem.
