여기저기 참견하기 좋아하는 엘사는 옆집으로 이사 온 연상남 프레드에게 호기심을 갖기 시작한다. 집에만 있기 좋아하는 '프레드'는 집 밖으로 절대 나올 생각을 안 하지만, 엘사는 그와 만나기 위해 온갖 핑계를 대며 그의 집에 방문한다. 결국 마음을 열기 시작한 그는 엘사와 함께 춤 배우기, 고급 레스토랑 먹튀 등 엉뚱한 해프닝을 겪으며 난생처음으로 느껴지는 묘한 감정에 눈 뜨게 된다. 하지만 엘사는 피카소의 모델이라는 둥 영화 속 주인공보다 예뻤다는 둥 말도 안 되는 이야기들로 프레드의 의심을 사기 시작하는데... 올가을을 사로잡을 고품격 로맨틱 코미디가 온다!
