아이 스탠드 얼로운
자신의 딸을 강간한 사내를 살해한 말 도살업자는 출옥한 후 새 삶을 시작하기 위해 자폐증에 걸린 딸을 파리에 남겨둔 채 임신한 새 부인과 새로운 도시로 떠난다. 사실 그는 아내를 사랑하지 않으며, 장모의 아파트에 얹혀 사는 것도 싫다. 곧 그의 삶에 대한 희망은 삶에 대한 비통함으로 바뀌게 된다. 비통함은 강박증을 낳고, 그 강박증은 다시 폭력을 낳는다. 오직 한 가지만이 그를 사로잡는다. 바로 세상에 대한 복수심이 그것이다. 가스파 노에 감독의 첫 단편영화 <까르네>의 속편.
