華道の名門｢月島流｣の令嬢・月島ももは美しく才能豊かで、すべてに恵まれていたが、婚約者に裏切られ結婚が破談となり、深く傷つき立ち直れずにいた。そんなある日、ももは転んで自転車を大破させ、迷い込んだ商店街で自転車店を営む風間直人と出会う。ももは、直人が周りから“ぷーさん”というニックネームで呼ばれ、愛されていること知り、彼のことが気になりはじめ、行動を共にするように。ももは少しずつ心が癒やされていく。
