この出会いは偶然か、それとも必然か…交わることのない３つの線の先に待つものは―― 幼い頃に両親が離婚、その直後に父親を亡くし寄宿舎生活を送っていたウェーンは、大学入学と同時に母親のいる実家に戻る。人気ドラマ監督である母親のサシウィモン（モン）と2人きりの生活となったが、母をハニーと呼ぶほど仲の良い親子関係を築いていた。 ある日、モンはロケ地探しのためにウェーンを連れて地方へと向かうが、道中で車が泥にはまり立ち往生してしまう。ウェーンは山奥にたたずむ一軒家を見つけ、そこに住む男性に助けを求めるが、その男性はなんと両親のかつての親友インタウットだった。疎遠になっていた友との思いがけない再会にモンは喜ぶが、その隣でウェーンは息を呑み、意味深な眼差しでインタウットを見つめていた。その日は奇しくもウェーンの20歳の誕生日前日、予期せぬ出会いをきっかけに3人の運命が動き始める―。
