ごく平凡な中年サラリーマンの左江内はある日、「スーパーマン」を自称する初老の男性に付きまとわれたうえ、スーパーマンになってくれないかと懇願される。左江内はそれを本気にせずに相手にしていなかったが娘の危機を知り、しぶしぶ引き受けてしまう。 譲り受けた「スーパー服」にはさまざまな能力があり、それを生かして正義のために仕事や家庭での合間、日夜戦わなくてはならなくなった。しかし、左江内が戦う相手とは悪の組織や怪獣などではなく、ごく日常の揉め事ばかりであった。
