Akihiro, ein japanischer Journalist, soll eine Reportage zum 70. Jahrestag der Bombardierung Hiroshimas erstellen. Er beschließt, eine kurze Pause im Park einzulegen, um etwas Abstand zu den aufwühlenden Interviews zu gewinnen, die er führt. Dabei lernt er auf der Parkbank eine junge Frau kennen, Michiko. Schließlich verbringen sie den Nachmittag miteinander und Michiko beschließt, mit Akihiro einen Ausflug ans Meer zu machen. (Quelle: arte)
